Ubisoft has announced that Settlers 7: Paths To A Kingdom, has a final release date for the United Kingdom. The latest game of the famous series already had a release date set for North America, but Ubisoft didn't stated when Settlers 7 would be available in the United Kingdom. In Settlers, the player starts out with a simple village, which the player can expand by gathering resources, and constructing buildings. In the end the player can control an empire, which the player can use to fight off enemy civilizations. One of the more unique things about the Settlers series, have been it's graphics. Unlike most other games, who want to have realistic graphics, Settlers has always been featured with cartoony graphics. Settlers 7: Paths To A Kingdom, will feature three pillars: military, science and trade. These 'pillars', will allow the player to develop and specialise themselves further to their desires. Settlers 7 is currently being developed by Blue Byte Software, which was responsible for the well-received Anno 1404, also known as 'Dawn of Discovery' in North America. Before the game is even released, there is already a small controversy about the game's anti-piracy protection. Unlike regular protection, which only requires a serial. Settlers will feature a new anti-piracy protection which always requires an Internet connection, meaning that the game won't be playable without being connected to the Internet. The Settlers 7: Paths To A Kingdom, will be released on March the 23rd in North America, and on March the 26th in the U.K. and the rest of Europe.
